Mark Rowbottom's Personal Portfolio
In my spare time I enjoy experimenting with photography.
As techniques and trends change over the years, I delight in the challenge of finding new methods to express different moods, styles and feelings.
Since my initial training in Brisbane, Australia, I have continued to travel and investigate different countries and cultures through the lens.
Employment in, then management of a photographic lab has given me a depth of technical knowledge which I incorporate into enhancing my images.
My fascination with architecture grew when I was managing a Wakefield office for estate agency photography.
Working with groups of people interests me as much as art developed by diverse civilisations. Architecture in art, the human form and sculpture all evoke my curiosity.
Now self employed for over 18 years, I continue to evolve my own style of depicting my surroundings, which feeds into the creation of successful commercial and personal photography.
You can see some of my favourite pieces here and these photographs are available for purchase. Additionally, I undertake commissions.
